you can hardly get a guitar with a rosewood fretboard anymore because it’s an endangered species. they’ve been churning out so many utter pieces of shit with strings on them that the fucking tree is going extinct. think of how many shit guitars are out there that have rosewood fingerboards that only exist because everything needs to have multiple price point variations because poverty exists. if we had a planned economy only producing the best we’d have guitars with nice dark fingerboards for generations to come.
bernie was right in a way when he said we don’t need 30 variations of deodorant or whatever it was he said. it’s not that we don’t need different deodorant it’s that we don’t need to be making the shit stuff that makes up at least 50% of any product selection in a supermarket
every product has multiple cheaper, inferior versions that only exist because some people are poor. every one of those inferior versions took resources, time, and labour to produce that could’ve been spent doing something we actually need or just saved. every step of the supply chain pumped out lbs upon lbs of pollution that didn’t have to be created. capitalist production is irrational and we can do better.
Another cool post showing that bougie wougie LARPenprole socialists have literally no production-side knowledge of any industrial process and assume (A) there’s a knob you can twist that turns quality materials into slightly shittier product and (B) that any profit-minded business would ever twist that knob for any reason
if there were fewer types of deoderant people would buy/make less of it?
nigga the fuck is you talking about?
these people are literally out here thinking that if companies and brands that catered towards low income people didn’t exist that would somehow make their normal and luxury goods cheaper and somehow they think denying poor people access to essential goods like food and sanitary products is woke
love too completely miss the point x 3
whining about guitars and misunderstanding supply is bougie as shit xdddd
thinking guitars are somehow synonymous with a class is peak liberal nonsense hope this helps
Ah yes, musicians, famous throughout history for being part of the upper class.
